AWE Ancient Rules

Miniature wargame rules for 300 BC - AD 500 field battles.
This is a new miniatures gaming system with battles exclusively decided by player's decisions. There is no inherent randomness or predictable outcomes.
The game is very fast, high tension, leading to decisive battles. The learning curve is as steep as immersion is deep.
Play is unforgiving and it may be difficult to recover from poor or rash decisions.
No dice, cards, markers, bookeeping or written orders required.

Details:

- One stand = one cohort

- 40mm basing for 15mm; 80mm for 28mm

- Default table 120x90cm

- Dialog combat system

- Combat Tiles

- No randomizers

- No on table markers

- Handicap system possible

Requirements: rectangle templates; magnetic sheet and metal steel paper, such as those found in hobby stores.
