SBG Cold War '72 -'78

NEW from Tornado Alley Games; "The Cold War: '72 to '78". Content includes 170 unique ship forms and 12 pages of aircraft. Featuring the US, USSR, PRC, ROC, RVN & PRVNN, the ship classes include aircraft carriers, submarines, cruisers, destroyers, frigates down to patrol boats.

Eight scenarios are incuded. Of special note are two historical scenarios for the "Battle of the Paracel Islands". The first Paracel Islands incident happened on January 19, 1974. The second scenario was set to happen the next day; but one side withdrew. Now you can find out what might have happened when the reinforcements arrive.

Another scenario deals with the use of boats from the South Vietnamese captured just before the fall of Saigon (a.k.a. Ho Chi Minh City).

The scenarios cover small actions to large battles. Some of them should be played on the floor; they're that big. Once you get the "feel" of the scenarios you'll be able to create your own battles.

SBG is designed from the command point of view. The game system does not give the commander instant knowledge of what's going on everywhere; that's the fog of war.
